The award is intended for master\u2019s students who graduated from a Dutch law school in 2024 or 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The prize of \u20ac2,000 aims to encourage students to specialise in important current legal themes, such as the regulation of all kinds of internet platforms, artificial intelligence and other pressing legal questions relating to internet\/digital technologies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submission details<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Theses can be submitted until <\/span><b>15 July 2025 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(to: scriptieprijs@brinkhof.com) by the student or their thesis supervisor. The submission should include the following information:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Student\u2019s name<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Correspondence address<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">University, thesis discipline and graduation date<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Language of the thesis (i.e. Dutch or English)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A grade certificate or transcript showing the thesis grade \u2013<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> If the grade has not been determined at the time of submission, we ask the student or thesis supervisor to send it once the thesis has been graded<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The master\u2019s thesis as a searchable PDF file<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Optional: a recommendation letter from the thesis supervisor<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Award ceremony<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The award ceremony will take place on <\/span><b>8 October 2025 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(exact date might be subject to change) at a legal symposium in Amsterdam (details to be announced later). During the ceremony, three finalists will be invited to briefly present their thesis before the jury selects the winner and presents the award.
