The prize is intended for master\u2019s students who graduated from a Dutch law school in the year 2023 or 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The \u20ac2,000 prize is intended to encourage students to specialise in important current themes, such as the regulation of all kinds of internet platforms (think, for example, of the Digital Services Act), privacy as an instrument of control in the information society, questions concerning artificial intelligence and all other legal questions that interface with internet technology.<\/p>\n<p>Theses can be submitted (to: scriptieprijs@brinkhof.com) by the student or thesis supervisor until <strong>9 August 2024<\/strong>, indicating the following details:<br \/>\n\u2013 Student\u2019s name<br \/>\n\u2013 Correspondence address<br \/>\n\u2013 Name of university, thesis discipline and date of graduation<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Language of the thesis (i.e. Dutch or English)<br \/>\n\u2013 A mark sheet or grade list showing the thesis grade<br \/>\n\u2013 The master\u2019s thesis as a searchable PDF file\u2013 Optional: a letter of recommendation from the thesis supervisor<\/p>\n<p>The award ceremony will take place <b>9 October 2024 <\/b>(exact date might be subject to change) at a legal symposium\u00a0in Amsterdam\u00a0(to be announced later). During the ceremony, three finalists will be invited to briefly present their thesis, after which the jury will determine the winner and award the prize.
